COVID-19 Response Fund

The Keokuk Area Community Foundation, working together with The Keokuk Area Chamber of Commerce, have established The Keokuk Area COVID-19 Response Fund to address the impacts of COVID-19 in Lee County and the Tri-State Area.

The Keokuk Area Community Foundation has initially pledged $25,000.00 to The Keokuk Area COVID-19 Response Fund.  Resources will be directed to where the need is most pressing; especially organizations in our area that are assisting individuals and families hit hardest by this medical emergency. In the long term, the fund will respond to the additional medical and economic needs that are sure to arise.

The Keokuk Area Community Foundation and The Keokuk Area Chamber of Commerce  invite local businesses and individuals to donate to The Keokuk Area COVID-19 Response Fund. As our communities and vulnerable populations face unprecedented challenges, this unrestricted fund will provide the community with a flexible strategy for charitable giving in this time of great need.

Due to the health concerns of COVID-19, donations will not be accepted at a “traditional drop-off” location. Donations can be made two ways: online and checks through the mail. Click above to make an online donation. Checks can be mailed to The Keokuk Area Community Foundation, P.O. Box 367, Keokuk, Iowa 52632 (write COVID-19 Response Fund in the memo line). Every donation to The Keokuk Area COVID-19  Response Fund could be tax-deductible, and the donor/business will receive a gift acknowledgement letter from The Keokuk Area Community Foundation.
